GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON JR. CUP | CHICAGO PRIDE DAY

Chicagoland's third 10-Goal polo tournament comes to an end at Oak Brook with the prestigious General George S. Patton Jr. Cup Championship match. Over the course of the last week, multiple teams competed at neighboring polo clubs to earn a spot in the championship game.

The General George S. Patton Jr. Cup is a USPA nationally sanctioned circuit trophy named after after the famous general in the United States Army who commanded the Seventh United States Army in the Mediterranean theater of World War II, and the Third United States Army in France and Germany after the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944, along with numerous other accolades.

In addition to the afternoon match, we are excited to welcome members of the Chicago Land Rover Club. Club Members and Bill Jacob's Land Rover Hinsdale will dislay new and vintage Land & Range Rovers onfield prior to the match and be featured in the opening ceremonies. 

Theme: The Theme for this event is Chicago Pride Day. Come to the match showcasing your Chicago Pride. This could be your favorite sports team, Chicago flag colors, etc. If you plan to participate in the Hat and/or Tailgate Contests, bonus points if you can incporate the theme.

• 3:00 PM - On-Field Polo Festivities Begin
• 4:00 PM - Halftime Divot Stomp
• 5:00 PM - Match Ends
• 5:30 PM - Awards Ceremony
