CANCELED: GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON JR. CUP | SUNDAE SUNDAY

Chicagoland's third 10-Goal polo tournament gets underway at Oak Brook with the prestigious General George S. Patton Jr. Cup. This is the first of many tournament matches to take place over the course of this week at neighboring polo clubs befor culminating in the championship match on Sunday, July 23rd at the Oak Brook Polo Club's Cecil Smith Field.

The General George S. Patton Jr. Cup is a USPA nationally sanctioned circuit trophy named after after the famous general in the United States Army who commanded the Seventh United States Army in the Mediterranean theater of World War II, and the Third United States Army in France and Germany after the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944, along with numerous other accolades.

THEME: Sundae Sunday!

In celebration of National Ice Cream Day, the Oak Brook Polo Club is thrilled to welcome Mojoe's serving up high-end ice cream and sundae treats before and durng the polo event. To further celebrate this ocassion, we are encouraging all Best Hat and Tailgate contestents to theme their attire and and tailgate display after their favortie ice cream treat for extra points.
