PASSION FOR POLO DEFEATS OAK BROOK 9-8 IN FIRST MATCH OF OAK BROOK POLO OPEN

On Sunday, July 26th, Oak Brook Polo was defeated 9-8 by local rival, Passion For Polo in the Oak Brook Polo Open.  The match, presented by Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse and Hinsdale Living Magazine, was held at the Prince of Wales field in Oak Brook, Illinois with a near sellout tailgate crowd. The two teams last competed against one another on July 12th during the Butler Challenge Cup where Oak Brook defeated Passion for Polo 14-11. 

OAK BROOK DEFEATS BARRINGTON'S PASSION FOR POL IN BUTLER CHALLENGE CUP PRELIMINARY

It was Oak Brook Polo for the win on Sunday, July 12th as they defeated local rival Passion for Polo (PFP) 14-11 in the preliminary match up of the 2020 Butler Challenge Cup.  The event, presented by Celebrity Cruises and Modern Luxury CS Magazine, was held at the Prince of Wales field in Oak Brook, Illinois and featured the official return of spectators with field side tailgating only. The Butler Challenge Cup is a 12-goal tournament featuring four matches played by three teams and the finals taking place on Tuesday, July 21st.  

OAK BROOK POLO WELCOMES BACK SPECTATORS FOR SUNDAY MATCHES

Oak Brook Polo kicked off their 2020 season on Sunday, June 14th with a 13-10 win against local rival, G-Squared.  The match, presented by Exit 7C and Modern Luxury’s CS Magazine, was held at Arranmore Farm & Polo Club due to field issues at Oak Brook’s Prince of Wales Field.  Spectators were not allowed; however, the action was livestreamed via Facebook with fans and members of the polo community tuning into watch over the course of the broadcast.

OAK BROOK POLO FALLS TO G-SQUARED IN THE R.R. McCORMICK UP

In Sunday’s semi-finals of the R.R. McCormick Cup, Oak Brook Polo lost 10-9 to local rival G-Squared.  The match, presented by Celebrity Cruises and Hinsdale Living Magazine, was held at Arranmore Farm & Polo Club due to field issues at Oak Brook’s Prince of Wales Field.  Spectators were not allowed; however, the action was livestreamed via Facebook with fans and members of the polo community tuning into watch over the course of the broadcast.
