MIDWEST OPEN | DERBY DAY

The Oak Brook Polo Club is excited to host the Consolation match of the Midwest Open 14-Goal tournament.

The second annual Midwest Open is hosted by Las Brisas Polo Club (Elgin, Illinois) which runs from August 2nd to August 19th. The 14-goal USPA-sanctioned event will feature teams gathering from all over the world to battle for the prestigious trophy. Las Brisas will utilize fields at Arranmore Polo Club (Oswego, Illinois), Morgan Creek Polo Club (Yorkville, Illinois) and Oak Brook Polo Club (Oak Brook, Illinois) alongside partner Passion for Polo to present one of the two highest rated handicap USPA tournaments (Chicago Polo Invitational) in the Central Circuit.

THEME: Derby Day

With Arlington Race Track closing and wonderful memories of the Kentucky Derby this past spring, we want to prove to all you horse racing and Derby fans that Oak Brook Polo is the next best thing to relive all your Derby and Arlington experiences. Dust off those Derby hats and searsucker suites a Derby themed afternoon. It's post time polo-style! Best Hat and Tailgate contestants are encouraged to dress in attire and tailgate display that reflect the Derby-lifestyle for extra points..
