About The Event

Chicagoland's third 10-Goal polo tournament comes to an end at Oak Brook with the prestigious General George S. Patton Jr. Cup Championship match. Over the course of the last week, multiple teams competed at neighboring polo clubs to earn a spot in the championship game.

The General George S. Patton Jr. Cup is a USPA nationally sanctioned circuit trophy named after after the famous general in the United States Army who commanded the Seventh United States Army in the Mediterranean theater of World War II, and the Third United States Army in France and Germany after the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944, along with numerous other accolades.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

  • 1:00 PM - Gates Open to the Public
  • 3:00 PM - On-Field Polo Festivities Begin
  • 4:00 PM - Halftime Divot Stomp
  • 5:00 PM - Match Ends
  • 5:30 PM - Awards Ceremony
