CANCELED: CD PEACOCK BUTLER INTERNATIONAL CUP | GATSBY DAY

Oak Brook Polo Club's and Chicago Polo's final 10-Goal tournament of the season gets underway with the highly anticipated and prestigious Butler International Cup featuring local and international teams. All this week, teams will compete at neighboring polo clubs for a chance to etch their name is this iconic trophy. 

The Butler International Cup was inagurated in 1986 to coemmorate HRH Prince Charles visit to the Oak Brook Polo Club with his British Team. The trophy was re-established in 2015 as the Club welcomed the India Polo Team. Since then, international teams from India, Mexico, Jamaica and England have all returned to Oak Brook to compete for the prestigious trophy. In 2021, the Butler International Cup would transition into an international tournament featuring teams from Switzerland, Germany, Argentina and Jamaica.

THEME: Gatsy Day

By popular demand, the Oak Brook Polo Club is bringing back the roaring 20's from when the Club was founded and in the era of the Great Gatsby. We encourae guests to dress for the time periord in flapper dresses and three piece suite that Gatsby himself would approved. Best Hat and Tailgate contestants are encouraged to theme their attire and tailgate display to reflect the day's theme for extra points.
