For the fifth straight season, Oak Brook Polo is thrilled to be the host club of the prestigious Butler Challenge Cup. Named after and on loan by the Butler Family. The day's event will benefit the Friends of Conservation (FOC). Founded in 1982, FOC was one of the world’s earliest leaders in the development of community conservation. It has been actively engaging the participation of communities in the Masai Mara area of Kenya since 1988 — planning, decision-making and implementing actions and policies relating to natural resources management and capacity building.

The Col. R.R. McCormick Cup returns for its second year after having not been played for nearly three decades. Named after the World War I Officer and Owner of the Chicago Tribune, Robert R. McCormick. Col. R.R. McCormick was avid polo player and played regularly at Oak Brook and Onwenstia Polo Clubs. The McCormick Cup is fitting trophy for the event’s “Stars, Stripes and Stirrups” theme as we celebrate the United States’ Independence and honor all those who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
