MATCH & EVENT INFORMATION

SUNDAY, JUNE 26TH, 2022

The 2022 Oak Brook Polo season kicks-off with a celebration of Oak Brook's historic 100th Anniversary since the Club's founding in 1922. The Club's opening Sunday will feature a highly anticipated Chicagoland match-up, pitting the Oak Brook Polo Team, Captained by James Drury, against a local rival. This 6-chukker 12-goal match will give the winning team early bragging rights as the best team in "The Prairie State" until they meet again later in the season.

To celebrate the Club's 100th Anniversary season, the theme for Sunday's event will be Great Gatsby Day. The Oak Brook Polo Club was founded in the early 1920s and the Great Gatsby is set against the backdrop of the 1920s New York City, a period known as the "Roaring Twenties" for the exhilarating pace set by the rapidly evolving culture and technology. Guests of this Sunday's match are encouraged to appear in 1920s era attire including three-piece suits, flapper dresses, etc. Member of the Ford Model T Club and Classic Car Club of America will be present onsite to display popular vehicles from the 1920s to help add to the theme's ambiance.
